@timelesschild Actually that was clever sound work by Ben and team. This is the original:

DW Throwback! ✨

Remember when The Doctor kissed the entire Pond Family?

He kissed
his Father-in-Law Rory,
his Mother-in-Law Amy,
and his wife River Song!

Good times, good times 🤭😄✌️

@themindrobber @gossjam I went to one last year, and the screen was huge (fab) but the picture quality was awful. Clearly an off the shelf version rather than remastered.

Would you know the picture quality being screened?

[Gavin Drake @Gavin_Drake]

@Devilligan It’s not on Disney+ in the U.K.

It’s available on BBCiPlayer though.

Hi @konditorcakes - I’m trying to order a next day delivery, but there doesn’t seem to be any delivery slots until the end of the week.

Is this technical issue with your website?

Help, I need an order for tomorrow (address is in Bow E3)!

@mrhenrymorris The 1970s New Avengers looked way better

@SurlyGamer Those ratings are all final ratings, not the overnights.

For comparison, below are the overnights for…

Last Christmas - 6.34m
The Husbands of River Song - 5.77m
The Return Of Doctor Mysterio - 5.68m
Twice Upon A Time - 5.66m

@scribblesscript @WeltAlexander That was some years later (1980).

It’s a story that wouldn’t be made today, but within the context of the time it (sadly) doesn’t look out of place.

The 70s Pink Panther films are worse, as is Disney’s One of our dinosaurs…

Even 1980s Raiders and Octopussy are problematic.

[Gavin Drake @Gavin_Drake]

@Stradiwhovius The Daemons - iconic Jon Pertwee story.

Day of the Daleks - the one on ITVX is the special edition with funky new FX.

Terror of the Zygons is great. See the first story with the Zygon’s in.

Seeds of Doom - epic Tom Baker which is surprisingly adult for its time.
