@Mill_Moron How about cutting all the benefits for TFWs, refugees and asylum seekers - there’s a few billion saved. Money should be spent on Canadians first.
Wanna know whats even funnier?
One of the richest humans to ever live, Rob Walton (Walmart), with a net worth of $143B, became part owner of your team in 2024….and the highest youve been in payroll in since then is 12th.
That FO is spreading your cheeks WIDE..
The salary cap vs no salary cap discussion is very simple
You either side with the players (ya know, the people you pay to see)
Or you side with billionaire owners who only care about money
There is a clear, correct choice here
Reminder: MLB Owners are not your friends
They are going to hammer home that a cap is what the fans want to even the playing field. Don’t let this fool you; these billionaires couldn’t care less about what you or I think. It’s all about maximizing profits. It always has been.
@EricDLombardi I think that’s missing is what is the cause of all these being issues. You’ve started to say it in other posts but reality is, mass immigration has caused all of these problems to be amplified - with no solution in sight.
@OntarioNDP It’s actually very simple. Unprepared ingredients aren’t taxed.
Prepared foods - just like you’d get at a restaurant - are taxed.
Why should Loblaws sandwiches not be taxed and Subway’s are?
Perhaps your donors are grocery corps?
