I think its time to be chronic offline, fuck new twitter,
I've got games to play, books to read, pictures to draw and people I can have conversations with.
I know ppl make fun of this shot a lot and yes they’re badly superimposed in but I think the backdrop is unironically beautiful in a 90s fantasy paperback novel painting way
learning that the duffers, back in s1, were offered the option to either make a 22 ep season or an 8 ep season, and chose the 8 ep which then irrevocably changed the landscape for television season lengths... we rly should blame them for ruining more than just their own show
Remember when Donald Trump’s ex wife died falling down the stars a few days before she was to be deposed and then he buried her at his golf course in an area with no groundskeeping
"Maybe we should finally tell them the big secret? That all the chimps we sent into space came back superintelligent."
"No, I don't think we'll be telling them that!"
"Doctor, I'm having writer's block and cannot condense this exposition."
"I have the solution. Go read the work of the great James Cameron, and it will teach you everything you need to know."
"But doctor..."
BREAKING: SCOTTISH ACTIVISTS TAKE DIRECT ACTION AGAINST EDINBURGH FIRM LINKED TO GENOCIDE
Only hours into 2026, an autonomous direct action group carried out a break-in at the Bruntons Aero Products factory in Inveresk Industrial Park, Musselburgh, on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Activists reportedly dismantled CNC machinery, servers, and computer equipment using hammers, paint, and fire extinguishers found on site.
Graffiti left on the walls and machinery read: “There’s only one way this ends” and “Drop Leonardo.”
The group said Bruntons was targeted due to its role in supplying Leonardo, a major international arms manufacturer. Leonardo produces laser targeting systems used in F-35 jets and supplies military equipment and training aircraft to Israel, as well as weapons systems used in conflicts across the Middle East.
Both Bruntons and Leonardo are members of ADS, the UK arms industry trade association, alongside companies such as BAE Systems, Thales, GKN, and Serco.
The action comes amid growing protest activity in Britain over Gaza. On New Year’s Eve, thousands demonstrated outside prisons in solidarity with Palestine Action prisoners, several of whom have been on hunger strike since November. As of today, Heba Muraisi has reached Day 60, with two others passing 50 days without food.
The Bruntons incident is believed to be the first pro-Palestine direct action in Britain in 2026. A spokesperson for the group described the action as part of a wider campaign targeting what they call the UK’s role in supplying weapons linked to the ongoing war in Gaza.
“Today is Day 1,” the statement said. “Free Palestine.”
When I was writing this I went down a rabbit hole of private equity buying (and lowering the quality of) fast food outlets like Tim Horton's, Subway, Quizno's. Breyer's technically not being "ice cream" anymore. I couldn't work it in but food is increasingly engineered.
