Over the past decade, the federal government sold approximately 195,000 bitcoin for proceeds of $366 million. If the government had held the bitcoin, it would be worth over $17 billion today. That’s how much it has cost American taxpayers not to have a long-term strategy.
Bitwise is now nearly 100 professionals, stewarding over $12,000,000,000 for investors.
All have left tradfi or tech to devote themselves to Bitcoin & crypto full time.
Team spans 6 time zones, offices in SF, NY, London.
I'm in awe every day at what this group gets done. Grateful.
Crypto industry raised more $$$ for candidates this election cycle than *oil & gas* and *pharmaceutical* industries…

Stablecoins are gearing up for a breakout year:
1. Ripple’s RLUSD, backed by $ deposits and TBills, is coming to the XRP Ledger & Ethereum.
2. Wyoming wants a state-backed stablecoin by Q1 2025 for daily payments
3. Robinhood and Revolut both exploring stablecoin projects
4. Ethena plans to launch it's 2nd stablecoin, UStb, which would invest its reserves in...BlackRock’s BUIDL?
The stablecoin wars are just starting.
A Bitwise client, RIA ~$100M AUM, invested 2.5% of client assets in bitcoin earlier this year with us.
They recently increased that to >6%.
There are more and more advisors who have as much conviction as anyone else. We're grateful to support them.
The drumbeat continues.
