I agree that it takes a village to meet the needs, but would emphatically add “ and engage the ASSETS” of all students, and their families. The community school approach embraces both so everyone can get what they need and feel welcome to share their gifts.
Another reason that strategies like #CommunitySchools and deep Family and Community Engagement are so important - it takes a village and intentional partnerships to meet the needs of all students.
