@energy_invictus@Jamwanda2 Dear Donkey - it's been exactly 4-months since the Government of Zimbabwe signed the PPSA with Invictus Energy. Why isn't it gazetted yet? We can't blame overseas legal council for this process...
@Mining_Zimbabwe@Jamwanda2 Dear Donkey - I know you have a lot going on with CAB3, but can we have an update on when the president is going to sign the PPSA? No additional funding for this project until we have ink on the page. Regards, Shrek
Exploration efforts in Muzarabani have shown promising indications of oils and gas deposits. In that regard, continued investment by both the Government and the Private sector in this area is essential to achieve energy security and reducing vulnerability to external shocks.
@Jamwanda2@Jamwanda2 Will Donkey make an appearance at the Invictus Energy site visit to the Cabora Basa Basin next week? Nice little countryside adventure to Muzarabani with the Minister. I wish Shrek could join you
@Jamwanda2 Happy Thursday Mr Donkey @Jamwanda2
Could everyone breathe a sigh of relief with a signature on Independence Day and start drilling the Cabora Basa Basin next week?
Kind regards, Shrek
@bla_bidza@bla_bidza - the Chinese investment firms will play by the rules Zimbabwe stipulates, so it's up to the administration to structure things favorably for the long term benefit of the Zim people. Look at what's happening with Invictus Energy creating a "industry defining PPSA"
“Australians agree that our resources belong to us. Gas that is exported from this country should be paid for by the gas companies that exported and a 25% has export tax is the way to go.
- Senator David Pocock

@Jamwanda2 May I ask when the Zimbabwe government will SIGN the PPSA with Invictus Energy to secure gas extraction & supply locally? Meetings were announced two weeks ago (that got moved online) and nothing eventuated.
@Jamwanda2 We hope these meetings were productive and Zimbabwe is a step closer to commercialising the gas in the Cabora Basa Basin. Are minutes available of the meeting discussion or outcomes?
@Tony_Muk@GeneralZimbabwe@Jamwanda2 PPSA was "AGREED" in December 2025 - it was NOT SIGNED. This is the final step to ensure future profit sharing between Invictus and the Government is locked in
@DavidPocock A Perth based oil & gas company operating in Zimbabwe called @energy_invictus is negotiating a profit sharing agreement with the government to distribute proceeds equitably. Definitely worth a conversation with @scott_mac_zw - the irony that it's Zim isn't lost on me
@BusinessTimesZW@MthuliNcube01 what is holding up the gas production in the Cabora Basa Basin with @energy_invictus ? With the turmoil in the middle east and his energy prices - the time is right now to capitalize on local resources. Zimbabwe is waiting....
@newswireZW You lose sleep when you owe the bank $100,000 - the bank loses sleep when you owe them $10-million.
Zimplats will be really worried about getting their money out of Zim to pay dividends to shareholders and reinvest in usual business activities
