The second coming of Jesus will be very visible, loud and literally earth shaking. It happens during the 7th and last plague of the Great Tribulation when the world is being destroyed, 2 Peter 3:10.

Starting in the east and sweeping westward across the skies of the earth, "like lightning," the Lord and His angels will quickly suck up his Saved Church like a vacuum cleaner sucking up dirt.

Though the word "rapture" does not appear in the Bible, it does describe the nature of how the Resurrection of the Saved will happen at His second coming. To be taken up with force.

The Bible gives us many scriptures of when this resurrection will happen. One such scripture is in Matthew 24:29-31. Jesus wants us to know so we will be ready because it will happen suddenly.
