@JakeH1886@Cal_I_Guess@GeordieMAG_ Its not really the point. Spurs have by no means spent the most in the Premier League era, but they have spent almost double what NUFC have. With that level of spend I'd be amazed if they had ever been relegated, but they did come close last season. SCR etc, its total nonsense.
Lastly - that's before agent fee's and wages. For reference across the same period -
MCFC is £2.2Bn, or roughly £63m per season. They effectively caught up.
LFC is £1.27Bn/£37m per season.
MUFC is £2.15Bn/£62m per season
No one else is being allowed to catch up. Rigged game
All this nonsense floating about regarding THFC building and progressing in 'the right way' as opposed to just throwing money at it, is total horse shit by the way.
Inflation adjusted NET spend on transfers in the Premier League era on £1.5Bn.Averages out at £41M per season

What THFC did across 2/3 decades, now can't.
You did it the same way, but earlier. You then changed the rules. Fair fucks, but all this sanctimonious shite about how you've been scrimping and saving - total fuckwittery.

@Villafanmike They know. Not all of them are that stupid to think they're where they are due to their own clubs brilliance. It's a rigged deck. Very similar to class - it's a closed shop and extremely difficult if not impossible to bridge the gap.
@71dd0_ I don’t hate Spurs. But they are just another club in London. Stadium full of tourists.
The rules were created when some clubs were so far ahead of the pack that it’s now virtually impossible to catch up. If that’s what you think completion is, not sure what to say.
@JakeH1886@Cal_I_Guess@GeordieMAG_ Why not? It’s what Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea have all done over decades. Spent considerably more than their competition to secure success on the pitch. That has then created global fan bases and the inflow of revenue with it. And now .. you can only spend your revenue
@donhutch4 Do you not think he owes the club the decency to respect the contract he signed? Fair enough, wish to leave. But that should be on our terms, not his and certainly not Arsenals.
Absolutely zero chance Wharton comes to NUFC. Bergvall should have been part of the Tonali deal.
@71dd0_ Just another club in London, sunshine. The deck is rigged in your favour, enjoy it. The goal posts were shifted, is what it is.
If the Saudis do exit, I’d be indifferent. There’s no point having the backing of the PIF when all you can spend is revenue the club itself generates.
@Cal1NUFC The club provided him a contract which he was happy to sign. It provides him with a guaranteed income and other benefits in return for him committing a period of time to the club. He may wish to leave. But, he should remain respectful to the club. Just my opinion.
Serious question.
If revenue from hosting Beyoncé and Dua Lipa gigs counts as football related revenue, does generating any type of revenue, so long as it’s the football club that’s the registered business responsible, count towards SCR? @Kevin_Maguire#NUFC
