🚨 IDF LAUNCHES SURPRISE MULTI-FRONT WAR EXERCISE AHEAD OF HOLIDAYS

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir launched a surprise General Staff exercise Sunday, testing the military’s response to a rapidly developing, multi-arena war scenario.

The drill, dubbed “Breaking Dawn 2.0,” is being conducted alongside ongoing operational activity and is designed to test readiness from the General Staff down to units in the field.

Zamir said the exercise reflects lessons from October 7 and stressed that the IDF’s baseline posture must now be “readiness for a surprise attack.”

“We are in a tense and volatile period across all arenas,” he said, adding that the drill is a key part of preparations for the upcoming holiday period.

Sir, 

As of 4:30 pm today the U.S. Geological Survey has officially designated the former Lake Ontario to be renamed as Lake America in all official USGS electronic documents.

The change will begin occurring in printed documents over the next several days.  

This change has also been made official in the Geographic Names Information System.
