@_dmaus It seems most of the OBR efforts and available commercial software have vanished. Some of my former colleagues still work advising on technical aids for VI... if your efforts don't lead you to a good answer first I can chase them
@_dmaus Interpoint braille (both sides of the paper embossed) was part of a PhD, using a flat bed scanner with mirrors altered in order to distinguish dots from holes
