MRD in AML was previously most useful for papers, not patients. Until now! @DrChrisHourigan moving us into the “getting stuff done era” with this Herculean 1075 pt study of MRD in CR1 heading to SCT. #ASCO#leusm
Excited for @DrChrisHourigan to present our latest results tomorrow at 11:45AM CT from the Pre-MEASURE study at #ASCO2022 examining #MRD in a large cohort of #AML patients prior to transplant. Stick around for the last session! #savingthebest4last https://t.co/LKY6ITj7gS
CONGRESS #ASCO22 | @DrChrisHourigan@NIH discusses MRD testing prior to allo-SCT for pts with AML in first remission in the Pre-MEASURE study. (N=457). NGS-MRD prior to alloHCT in AML CR1 was prognostic. #leusm#leukemia
I’m so proud of @Meg_Goswami and @GegeGui0 for this work. While this was only a small clinical trial they have shown with their strong logic and beautiful science that in AML patients there was no evidence that adding anti-PD1 treatment to HMA resulted in additional benefit.
