Juan Soto talks mechanics, routine, swing thoughts. The best players in the world all tend to think the same thing & work similarly. Listen to the greats. Hunt for back spin & low line drives with a short & repeatable swing!
No one on the planet more deserving. Today was amazing. I'm so proud of my friend. Also, what a blessing to be a part of such an amazing university! What they've done to support Greg over the last year has been incredibly impactful. Honored to be there today 🙏
@RealCJ10 completely agree with this! Members of the HOF should have a voice in selection. Andruw Jones, in my option was a generational player and should be in the HOF.
I wanna ask all HOF voters one question….if Andruw Jones plays for the New York Yankees for 15 yrs with 10 GGs, 400Hrs, 1300 rbis…is he a HOFer? Lemme answer for you….first ballot! Time to have a conversation about HOFers chiming in. 75 living members can make sure it’s right!
Hitters….. I give u 10 pitches right down the middle in BP. I tell you I want you to hit every pitch for a homer down the line in left or right. How many do u center up??? At the ML level, they would center up 3 or 4 balls, maybe 5. Now, I give u those same 10 pitches and tell you to knock down the center field wall. How many do you center up? Most guys tell me, 7 or 8, maybe 9. So if u center up more to the middle of the field, why would your approach change at game time. Hunt the fastball to the off gap and you will be shocked at how well you see and stay on the breaking ball. Then, because you are swinging north (middle), you clip the breaking ball for a strike, to the pull side. Hunt heat to the north and let it eat!
Pete Rose shares tons of baseball knowledge with A-Rod and Frank Thomas. It’s a 6 minute video, but I promise you, it’s the best thing you’ll see about Pete Rose today.
