I've received a lot of messages asking about this so I wanted to make a quick post. Given that we would no longer have control over the StreamYard product/business, Dan Briggs & I decided to leave Hopin a few weeks ago. We tried to buy back StreamYard ourselves, but unfortunately it didn't work out, and Hopin sold the business to a different buyer.
We love the StreamYard community and it has been an absolute pleasure serving you over the last few years. We wish the product continued success, and are excited to start working on something new.
@colbyfayock@ajcwebdev We're working on offering more recording/podcasting features on StreamYard. What are that main things missing from your perspective?
@sms2sms@streamyardapp There still is unlimited streaming. There is no option to delete the older broadcasts because they were already deleted given how the old logic worked (auto deletion after 2 weeks). We should make it more clear in the UI, but the current offering is much better than the old one
We've raised our Series C at @Hopin I couldn't be prouder of the work our team has done so far, but we're just getting started. @streamyardapp joining the family was a highlight for this year! We have really big plans, I've written a bit about the story.

@realDotNetDave@mcbeniwal@streamyardapp@Hopin We (StreamYard) are literally offering the exact same service at the same price, and have even added features post acquisition for free
@mmisztal1980@streamyardapp I don't have a config example, but you should be able to just add it as a custom rtmp destination and add the url and key on StreamYard
@SavvyTurtle@streamyardapp Hey Savvy Turtle, I'm sorry you don't feel great about the app. We work hard to make our site accessible to all creators, and are always open to criticism/feedback here https://t.co/OeaDmsqd9G. There are hundreds of comments during live shows, and we can't always get to them all.
