My best friend’s cousin sent me his electric bill today: $280 for a basic two-bedroom apartment.

He checked the actual usage breakdown. The electricity he consumed was only $110.

The remaining $170 was tagged as "Delivery Charge," "Grid Modernization Fee," and "Peak Demand Surcharge."

They billed him 1.5 times the cost of the actual power just to send it through utility lines that have been hanging on wooden poles since 1984.

We don't buy power anymore. We pay a ransom to local utility monopolies just to keep the lights on.

Most people only talk about H1B and H4 EAD fraud. But the major visa fraud is L1 and L2. There is no limit for L1 visas. Indian companies set up offices in America and India, bring people on L1 as "executive managers," and sponsor green cards. Every year around 10K–20K L1 visas are issued. In name they are executives, but in reality most do unskilled jobs for less than $100K. Why is the U.S. government keeping a blind eye? It's more dangerous than H1B because there's no limit or cap.

The U.S. visa system needs total modification to protect Americans. Since 1990, people have been using visa loopholes.
For security updates and modernization—Apple changed 17 iPhone models from 2008 to 2026, so why can't the system be changed from 1990?
It was funded by American taxpayers. Now their families and children are losing jobs because of visa loopholes. Wake up and protect Americans. Allocate funding and resources to raid all Indian-based consultancies—90% of them are involved in fraud.

This is going to sound insane...but its already been said more than once.

Maybe the reason so many illegals never apply for citizenship after years of living here is simple.

Their situation works better while they remain illegal.

They get work opportunities that Americans are locked out of. They receive benefits paid for by sanctuary states. They take cash for the jobs they do. And they can return home whenever it suits them.

Citizenship would bring taxes, rules, and permanent commitment. Illegal status keeps the door open both ways. They know they have jobs because they are not citizens and so do the folks that employ them.

High-trust countries assume people want to join the system. Low-trust operators treat the system as a temporary resource to extract from.

That incentive structure explains a lot more than we are usually allowed to say.
