@gissydems @MartinSLewis We do the same. As far as they’re concerned Santa buys them one small thing from their list and people in the family buy the rest but Santa offers a “delivery service” because it’s fun.
They say thank you to the right people and haven’t had something expensive from Santa.

@MartinSLewis I had my dress for £25 from eBay, my husband wore a suit he owned already. We spruced up our local pub with hired chairs and table linen and held it in November. We wanted it to be a relaxed affair. 60 guests and all had a lovely time.

@greg_jenner We went every year until we had kids. They are old enough to take now and couldn’t even be talked into a day ticket. We live down the road, debated it but the thought of queuing for 6 hours past the airport to get in has put us off. 😂
