Writing about the brain…

My brain: “what’s a brain?” 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Jeremy_Hunt As great as this is it is a real shame we won’t see the benefits of this when I return to work. Our girl is currently 4 months old and as far as I can tell wont receive support with childcare until Sept ‘24. We’ll have a tough year of my monthly salary going on her nursery fees!

Conversations with a toddler procrastinating at bedtime… “I had a bad dream with a monster and Mr Tumble was a ghost trying to eat me” @CBeebiesHQ

@MartinSLewis We didn’t have much choice with the arrival of a newborn and a toddler at home, ours went on in November. Just hoping for a weird mid winter heatwave

As a mum of a toddler and a 2 week old baby studying right now I am very grateful that @OpenUniversity have been nothing but supportive. Nobody wants a crying baby around but support the mum instead of pushing them out!

Surprising myself and blasting through 2 assignments due next week - I think the thought of this baby arriving pretty much any day is quite the incentive to finish! Study buddy also quite helpful today (ice cube incident aside) #SDK100 #SK298

[Gemma 🦖 @Gemmer91]

@FirstBSA your timetable seems to not mention the stop for Leechpool Way when travelling to Yate Shopping Centre when I’ve definitely seen it go past. Can it be updated?

Do you remember when you joined Twitter? I do! #MyTwitterAnniversary

(I only do because Twitter reminded me)

My baby is due in 5 weeks and I’m wondering how many more they’ll get through just in pregnancy!

My son has lived through four chancellors, three home secretaries, two prime ministers and two monarchs.

He's four months old.

This morning in the house, I’m in a #SDK100 tutorial, mini t-rex is having an art session

@Number10cat Yes, time for those impacted by government decisions to actually have a say!

@UnicornBliss_x @MartinSLewis @hmtreasury @TheFCA @bankofengland @GMB This is the same as us, doesn’t feel great knowing our mortgage payments are going up by 60% per month at the end of our current deal. 🙁

Daddy put on boring snooker thinking mini t-rex would nod off… instead she’s now learning how to play 🤦🏻‍♀️

[Gemma 🦖 @Gemmer91]

@susie_dent A very relevant word of the day!

[Gemma 🦖 @Gemmer91]

Surprised myself with my overall result for #K102 I’ve always been used to being the ‘scraping the pass mark’ kinda person but not this time with the amazing support of the @OpenUniversity and my tutor my result is so much higher than I imagined! Bring on #SK298 and #SDK100 🥳

Laughing so much watching Never Mind the Buzzcocks I’m worried I’m going to laugh myself into labour! 🤦🏻‍♀️
