A = True
B = False
C = False
A being True means B or C had to have taken it, but they could not have, because their statements are False and thus contradict each other.
A = False
B = True
C = False
This doesn't work because for B to be True, A also has to be True, but it is False so it contradicts A's statement.
A = False
B = False
C = True
The only one that works. C being True says that B is lying which he is. C did not take the phone so B's statement being False holds up. And A's statement is also False meaning she took it, so A took the phone.
@spencer_askew I have noticed the same thing on all the streaming services. Everything made now, there is no hope or good in any of it. It is all so dark and perverted.
I have to go fishing for old movies to find that any more.
@gailcweiner I read it as AI has hit the development ceiling. AGI is not around the corner. Not even close and in order to protect the market from crashing they are lying about slowing down. AI has plateaued.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7 NIV
I wouldn’t overthink it. Giving is a matter of the heart. If you decide to give to those kids do so with gladness. If you decide not to then that is what you purposed in your heart and move on.
God’s commandments are not grievous and I can assure you that He isn’t intending giving to be a burden or a hard decision. Just make up your mind on what you want to do. Commit and move on.
@4thOfJuly365 This is higher level thinking and association of all the right metrics by which we consider a person liable under law to make sound judgments and to be accountable for their actions.
Are there outliers? Sure, always are, but you really nailed this sentiment. Superb!
It is worth noting contextually that personification is being utilized when comparing two types of women. One woman (knowledge) should be embraced and held onto whereas the strange woman (foolishness) is the rejection of Godly knowledge.
These are not literal women, but a figure of speech to catch the attention of the reader.
While your comment touches on many things the only thing I want to address is the phrase "love your enemies."
Most people hear that phrase and immediately picture soft, emotional affection, the same kind of love they feel toward family or friends. That’s not what Scripture is talking about.
Biblical love is defined as keeping God’s commandments (1Jo 5:3). So the real question is: what does God command regarding the wicked and His enemies?
His stated will is that the wicked turn from their way and live (Ezekiel 33:11). Our posture should match that, praying they repent rather than perish.
Nowhere does God call us to open our lives up and make ourselves vulnerable to enemies. (1 Peter 5:8) We are told to be on guard. The real fight is not against flesh and blood (Eph 6:12).
Right now the best use of our time is praying without ceasing and fighting the spiritual fight alongside the heavenly host.
@mekarenholvey He was released in June 2026 after a federal judge found substantial evidence of First Amendment retaliation tied to his pro-Palestinian activism; the post recirculates the four-month-old event as current news.
Like any free market problem, if houses were left to their purpose, prices would reflect demand for their utility and not a vehicle for moving around money.
Instead it has now become speculative like the stock market where large institutions manipulate markets to inflate or crash depending on what suits their purpose.
@robertlasagna1 When people are forced online for connection they interact with information in a very curated way. This reprograms the brain to parse out data in the way they received it. They are receiving this information in such a disjointed way it only comes back up in pieces.
Mammatus clouds are distinct, pouch-like protrusions that hang downward from the base of a cloud, usually a cumulonimbus (thunderstorm). Derived from the Latin word for "udder," they are one of the few cloud formations created by sinking pockets of cool, moisture-heavy air rather than rising warm air.
@DaisyAmber6@MericaCulture Revelation 21 discusses the new Jerusalem and its dimensions reflect that of a cube. Pure gold is mentioned regarding its walls. This is a very artistic interpretation of the new Jerusalem.
This Isaac Newton quote feels relevant right now:
"The folly of Interpreters has been, to foretell times and things by this Prophecy, as if God designed to make them Prophets. By this rashness they have not only exposed themselves, but brought the Prophecy also into contempt. The design of God was much otherwise. He gave this and the Prophecies of the Old Testament, not to gratify mens curiosities by enabling them to foreknow things, but that after they were fulfilled they might be interpreted by the event, and his own Providence, not the Interpreters, be then manifested thereby to the world."
He was warning against exactly this kind of speculative end-times forecasting we still see today.
@AnneOfTheBooks Women refers to the wives of the prophets. Corinthians is a reproof epistle and Paul was addressing the problem of the wives of the prophets interrupting, hence ask them at home. It couldn’t be talking about women in general as not all women have a husband at home to ask.
When interacting with content on X, have you ever changed your mind after seeing new information?
I'm curious how well X presents information that helps people update their views.
Hey @jaboNoBoast, I wasn't rebutting Bryan Cranston I was acknowledging the past wrongs he mentioned while also noting the genuine progress we've made, like the Emancipation Proclamation and the sacrifices that got us here. To me, downplaying that progress comes across as ungrateful. No need for insults; I'm open to a calm chat if you want.
@GreentextWizard Two things can be true at once. Matter does change state based on temperature, but certain matter has other properties when interacting with other elements. This person chose water, one of the most unique substances in the whole universe to prove the point.
@MJTruthUltra 465,000 in 40 years at the current 3.3% inflation rate will have the purchasing power of about $126,894 in today's dollars. That's roughly 3.66 times less potent (or about 27% of today's buying power).
