@jpwarchaeology There are a few other pubs in Norfolk that claim to be amongst the eldest in the uk. The Green Dragon in Wymondham is apparently 14th century. The Duke’s Head in West Rudham also dates back to 15-17 century.

@jpwarchaeology Adam and Eve in Norwich is the oldest in the city, located in Bishopgate near the law courts and one of the cathedrals. Apparently earliest made reference to it is 1249.
