Toxic people see your boundaries as revenge or as a personal insult on them, and think that you are nothing but a problem, but in reality, it's their toxic behaviors that led to those boundaries in the first place.

It's not always easy, but it's worth it choosing positivity over negativity, a lesson I'm learning daily. While the world chooses to try and bring others down, it's much more worthwhile to be uplifting; to genuinely try to help and encourage others and if you can't, just leave it alone. The masses choose negativity, bullying and abuse, especially when you're a T.I. I choose to try and be the reason someone keeps going, never giving up on life no matter what the circumstances.

Thanks for sharing this. The crazy thing is, not only is it happening but those apart of it see absolutely nothing wrong with it.....since they're not the targets of it, anyway. Smh. I could never imagine being so self entitled I see nothing wrong with violating someone's basic human right to privacy within their own mind. Never fails to amaze me. You have an extended relative who's also a perp in your targeting experience. They're having a bad day; you still love them despite their betrayal so you show them love, empathy and care to try and uplift their spirit. The next day, YOU'RE having a bad day, and they do everything they can to feed into it in the most negative ways. But why am I tripping? Showing care, empathy and concern is a sign of MY true character, even towards an enemy. Provoking and baiting me even when I'm obviously struggling is a sign of THEIR true character. Yep, that wall is going right back up, dearest auntie. Gotta Protect my energy. For a slight moment there, forgot who I was dealing with. Allowed her to get way too close to my emotions yet again. Lesson learned.

The biggest test seems to be in not becoming the epitome of those who consistently bully, abuse, stalk and harass you while they see absolutely nothing wrong with doing so (until they're caught, that is); not allowing their dark energy to poison your character; not allowing their deep rooted issues to become your deep rooted issues. In this world, being evil and cruel is easy; taking the high road and growing in kindness, love and empathy is the real everyday challenge. Of course 😏
