As seen on CBC Nova Scotia, a Muslim man flat out lying about what Halal slaughter is. He claims it’s not mass slaughter but one person (as if that actually matters!) and that it’s one cut severing the neck (not really!) while the butcher says in the name of Allah (as if their sky daddy’s name purifies the meat). You want to know what halal slaughter really looks like? The butcher cuts the windpipe, food tract, and both jugular veins and carotid arteries, leaving the spinal cord intact. The animal is NOT stunned and the blood must be drained completely which means the heart must keep pumping, the animal must be kept alive for as long as possible, to make the meat halal. This is pure torture. I get people like to eat their meat. It doesn’t need to be this cruel and heartless. Animals don’t need to get tortured because some Muslim wants to have his halal barbecue. But this cruelty doesn’t stop at slaughtering animals. Halal is a whole industry and mindset.
