“Why don’t Christians in the West Bank and Gaza publicly condemn Hamas, even though Hamas brought them destruction, killed people, and kidnapped others?”

He replied:
“Do you want them to be killed for speaking out?”

I said:
“So they stay silent because they know Hamas would kill them if they spoke up?”

He said:
“Of course.”

Then I asked:
“Does that mean they feel safe criticizing Israel because they know Israel won’t harm them?”

Again, he said:
“Of course.”

My point is simple:
If anyone accuses Israel of targeting Christians, the very fact that Christians can openly criticize Israel without fear of retaliation proves the opposite.

I went to Boulder this morning to lay white roses at the makeshift memorial in front of the courthouse, where Sunday’s attack happened. A police officer kept watch at the courthouse entrance. Several reporters and news cameras were around. Altogether very quiet, solemn, somber. Others had lain flowers too. I am praying for the victims and their families. Christians must stand with Jews in fighting the heinous evil of antisemitism. The very future of our country depends on it. @philosproject
