**Disclaimer: Historically, many storms have formed outside of the official season dates (June 1st - November 30th). Both #Arthur and #Bertha did this year.
It will take longer to restore outages in some areas with severe flooding and heavy vegetation, but we will continue working around the clock to get the lights back on for all of our customers. #Eta

The National Hurricane Center has forecasted "unsurvivable storm surge" from Hurricane #Laura in parts of Louisiana and Texas. Do NOT underestimate this storm.

Tropical Storm Isaias will pass well east of the Georgia coast, according to the National Hurricane Center. Our greatest impact is expected around 2 p.m. with possible 30 mph winds. As always, stay vigilant, and if you encounter downed power lines, stay far away and call 911.
