After more than a decade of development, Wube Software has announced that Factorio’s upcoming 2.1 update will be the game’s last major gameplay update.
In a blog post, the studio explained that Factorio has “reached a good place to conclude active gameplay development” and that “the game feels complete.”
After years of updates, improvements, and the recent Space Age expansion, the developers believe they have achieved what they set out to create.
Factorio first entered early access in 2016 and became one of the most acclaimed factory-building and automation games ever made.
Wube said it will continue supporting the game with bug fixes and maintenance updates. The studio is now preparing to focus on future projects.
@Raavex1@thaonlyjonathan I'm sure you played lot of factorio :) better machines like foundries or e.m. plants could be attached to biome-specific mining, or even dimension-specific like it is in the factorio space age planets.... But that is way in the future haha good luck mate
@EdilanTV@Prowl8413@Simon_Hypixel I like the factorio approach, it may be easier: just belts, one-way inserters and machines. Could use gear stuff just for power, or as a visual thing for machines. Machines could be very big hehe
@Simon_Hypixel - Items physics (ores get stuck in walls when you mine them) and a slight increase in pickup range
- bigger stacks than 25
- initial acceleration feels weird, should be less time between you pulse W and get max speed
- double press W should work to sprint
- ladders and doors
@Simon_Hypixel@KweebecCorner This has to be default for all pickaxes. Then let mods or future updates change the ability across different tiers, or gems like poe :o but its a great default skill I think
6,000 fabricando ropa, pero en total son 45,000 presos trabajando en diferentes áreas; pronto será la mitad de toda la población carcelaria.
Cada día trabajado cuenta como 2 días de condena.
