The #USWIN2023 conference in Scottsdale, AZ, kicked off yesterday and X-energy’s Georgette Alexander-Morrison, VP of Government R&D, spoke to our nuclear in space program and the opportunities for advanced technology on the surface of the moon and in Mars missions.

“You’re trying to control something that is way out there, from way back here,” she said. “We are there to implement a new type of reactor system, which is going to have cleaner fuel but is also generating heat and electricity.”

BIG NEWS: @DowNewsroom and @xenergynuclear agree to build and demonstrate four gas-cooled reactors at one of Dow's sites on the U.S. Gulf Coast.

The project will be the first grid-scale next-gen reactor for an industrial site in North America.
