PARODY ACCOUNT. This account is NOT affiliated with SUNY Geneseo; its tweets are NOT official statements by the college. Is that clear enough for you, admins?

The college has thrown our lives into chaos by kicking us off of campus and barring us from returning. The least they can do is give us time to stabilize.
If @SUNYGeneseo actually cares about their students, they will postpone classes by a week. We are in the middle of a global pandemic. It is incredibly naive and inconsiderate to expect students to continue with coursework right now.
Imagine giving people only four days notice that they are being forced off campus. Classic Geneseo. God forbid they ever actually tell us about anything in advance. They obviously don't give a shit. At least give us a week to figure things out.
Starting March 19, @CUNY and @SUNY will move to a distance-learning model for the rest of the semester.
This will help us reduce density and reduce the spread of this virus. #COVID19
@sydjulien Geneseo wouldn't announce it first, they'd bulldoze it and then send out an email an hour later about how excited we all should be for the new parking lot they're making in its place
Today's event showed the true colors of the admins. The President and Vice President are committed to giving weak answers and dodging questions. They don't care about hearing our concerns, they just want to shut us up.
@denisebatttles @izayakelly As a friend of the students who organized this event, please do RSVP. It's just so that they know how many chairs to give us. The RSVP is completely anonymous (students have access to the poll and confirmed this 100%). Not RSVPing means you'll just have to stand.
We are part of this community, too. We have a right to have a say. It's our tuition that funds the school, after all. Maybe the administration should start acting like it. Do you see how upset people are about this? People want Milne back. Start listening to them.
First it was asbestos abatement for the winter break, then it was asbestos abatement for the spring semester, and now it's a renovation that's going to last four to five years. Are you kidding? Students need their library back.
The freshmen that come to Geneseo next year will not have a library for their entire time at this college. There is no way Geneseo has the resources to compensate for not having a library. @SUNYGeneseo continues to make huge changes without asking the students what they want.
On Thursday the 13th at 4:30pm in the College Union Ballroom, President Battles will be hosting a Campus Conversation to discuss the school's recent controversies with students. We need you to show up and speak their mind about everything that's happened. Tell everyone you know!
Huge thanks to @SUNYGeneseo for being so transparent with regular updates on the power situation. Not.
Two hours past the time the power outage was supposed to end, and still no official announcements. Geneseo likes to keep students in the dark, both literally and figuratively.
Twitter directly confirms that @SUNYGeneseo was given access in error. The college should issue a formal apology for its embarrassing mishandling of this issue.
"We're still investigating what exactly happened here," said Twitter spokesperson Aly Pavel. "That said, the school should not have been provided access to this account."
"We heard you guys liked Power Outage 1, so get ready for Power Outage 2! Bigger and better than ever - with even less hot water (we know how much you guys love your cold showers)! Have fun stumbling around in the dark in the morning as you struggle to get ready for classes!"
