Nairobi CBD, especially from Moi Avenue downwards, has become so chaotic that many people only go there when absolutely necessary. Boda bodas ride in every direction, matatus overlap in the middle of town, and pedestrians are left to fend for themselves. How did we allow our capital city to deteriorate to this point?
@zablonorina1 Moving from Khoja to OTC might take you one 1 hr for a distance supposed to take less than 10 minutes ,There's total chaos riders operating in opposite direction hawkers have taken the footpaths and then kuna msee wa troli carrying 50kg luggage rushing to you in 60km/ ! Ni mbaya
We have millions of university graduates unemployed. Some have become boda boda riders. Others are homeless, hungry, physically, emotionally, mentally and psychologically distressed.
Millions of Kenyan youth live in squalor. Thousands have been abducted, illegally detained, tortured, maimed or murdered by police, NIS and other government death squads.
Kenyans hardly have enough to eat. The cities, towns and villages either have no infrastructure or rotting ones.
Most Kenyans have no clean running water. No drainage. No waste management. No public transport system.
Millions of Kenyans die of preventable and treatable illnesses because they don’t have access to healthcare and medicine.
Kenya’s education is a joke. We have functionally illiterate PhD holders.
Kenyan politicians are the highest paid and the least educated and performing in the world. They are also the most corrupt.
The economy is on a free fall. Public debt is more than 3 trillion shillings. Kenyans are overtaxed with zero to show for it.
But they lie to you that capitalism is the best system in the world and that Kenyans are extremely happy with how well capitalism has served them for 62 years!
THINGS YOU'LL REGRET ONE DAY:

3. Letting fear keep you from chasing your dreams.
4. Not telling someone how much they mean to you.
5. Staying in a toxic relationship for too long.
6. Taking your parents time for granted.
7. Waiting for the perfect moment that never comes.
8. Not putting yourself first when you should.
