@PeterMcCormack How people can advocate for giving more money to the government through taxation, when government has clearly shown its inability to manage that money responsibly is beyond me.
@camelfinance How do they never learn. As if those with 10mil in assets dont have the option to leave the country. I guess it doesnโt take much to be a tax โexpertโ these days. Soon there will be no one left to tax
@MacroAnarchy@MblingBrdFrk @anhoang_net @camelfinance If you take it to the extreme if one miner mines every block (only 1/10min) at a fixed BTC price, tht is the max revenue possible. This reduces every halving (in BTC). If the OPEX for the most efficient miners are higher they cannot be profitable. That sets the floor BTC price
@anhoang_net @camelfinance The amount of blocks that can be mined in a single day is limited since you can only mine one block every 10min. Therefore even with difficulty adjustment the income that can be generated by miners at a certain BTC price is capped. It seems most miss this point
@his_eminence_j@adamtaggart Let me ask you: What are the characteristics of gold that make it good money and valuable? If BTC has those same characteristics but improved does that not have value? You are mistakenly looking at BTC like a stock rather than store of value. Study money, itโs a technology.
@noufsmith Yes, and the whole industry (or at least the size of it) feels like the fiat consequence of having to buy property as a store of value rather than a utility. As people start to understand BTC I hope this shrinks and people start using houses to actually live in. Such a waste.
@CryptoElPres Really interesting, makes me think that we're living in a simulation haha It does remind me of the "Birthday Paradox" https://t.co/ErRJYwqCKy. Haven't thought through how to set up the maths for this, but could be that the probability of this coincidence is higher than we think
@camelfinance Problem is people want certainty and marry themselves to a narrative. They canโt accept the idea of having a base case and being ready to pivot depending on the data. The intent is to be ready for all outcomes not about being right or wrong.
@JaredGreenOne@Kemozabi1@camelfinance ๐๐ it is such a dilemma, I want to keep exclusive access to the alpha but also I want Camel to have more success haha
