@NatashaMDay Our farm only has a name (no road) so I put 2 big signs -with name in reflective lettering- at the bottom of our track so they can be seen from either direction. I’ve also got the grid ref for land ambulance & long/lat of suitable field for air ambulance to give when I phone 999.

@ericauk The drawing is wonderful! What a talented daughter they have. I’m extremely disappointed to see you say you don’t believe her, especially in your position!! Lots of ND people need to draw, knit, make notes etc whilst they are listening to be able to take in the info.

So much rain here last night with the #storm that’s coming through. Checking the cows this morning was a bit soggy due to the gley #soil in our bottom fields! Thankfully the field they are in is on a slope so they’re sensibly staying out of the water!

Between the #snow in the N of #Scotland, traffic in Edinburgh & the sat nav going bananas & sending me through Newcastle city centre (🤯) it’s been a very very long and tiring drive to #Durham! Now fed and ready for bed! 😴

@ParsnipsParsons Yes!! I’m a full time carer to my 2 disabled teens. I went to my first conference earlier this year & you’d think my OH had solved world hunger the way some people acted because he’d looked after his own kids- with a carer doing shifts every weekday- whilst I “swanned off”.

@MrLGeo It’s on the list! I really liked it when I applied yrs ago. From his comments after looking at env sci & geology so far at a few unis I think env geosci is exactly what he’s after & we’ve got a few open days planned for next summer.

Eldest loved the Leicester open day, is def adding it to his shortlist spreadsheet & is seriously considering geology after the talks & a look through the module booklets for both subjects!!
After 3 days of driving 6-7hrs/day I’m very glad I don’t have to drive for a few days! 😴
