The State Department received the UK’s formal extradition requests on September 9.

The Government has given us only two letters confirming that the requests arrived.

The requests themselves have not been provided.

Therefore, we still do not know the accusers' names.

The complaint identifies them only as “Complainant A” and “Complainant B.”

Article 8 of the Treaty requires a warrant, a charging document, and information providing a reasonable basis to believe Andrew and Tristan committed the alleged offenses.

None of those materials has been produced to the Court or to us.

The Government will say we are not entitled to them.

We will tell the Government that Article 8 demands them.

Absent meaningful proof, such as an accuser’s name, it is entirely reasonable to infer that this is a political case.

A prosecution with evidence produces it.

This cloak-and-dagger act speaks to the deception behind these accusations and to their weakness.

Under Article 4 of the Treaty, extradition shall not be granted if the Executive Branch determines that the request was politically motivated.
