Same tired crap every election year - other colour juxtaposition. Any election cycle where a party reduces their argument to ‘bloods vs crips’ is a good indicator that they’ll LOSE.

“The money’s wrong”, “no it isn't”, “yes it is”, “no it's not and my Dad is better than yours and I have a bigger dingus”, “sausage eater”, “baldy”…

When the Government decreases wasteful spending the mechanism by which I have more money is that they tax me less. Filed under 'never gonna happen'

The mechanism for growth is that they can borrow more, or for cheaper, or pay outright for initiatives that are sold to me as benefits to "the economy" - things like FTA deals with India. Filed under "won't help Kiwi's or fix cost of living"

And still I say, NZ has a Property Wealth fetish that stagnates the economy & drives up the price of everything.
