When public planning is handled from an office instead of on the ground, this is what happens.

You cannot approve a mall, a morgue, or any business with heavy pedestrian traffic right next to a high-speed dual carriageway and then expect vehicles to magically slow down for your business to thrive !

The approving authority should be held accountable. Good planning is supposed to prevent accidents, not create them.

Imagine a family going to collect the body of a loved one, only to be hit by speeding traffic and end up in the very same morgue. That’s not just tragic—it’s a failure of planning.

Any development that attracts large numbers of pedestrians should have proper access roads, service lanes, pedestrian crossings, or be located away from high-speed highways.

Unfortunately, when corruption replaces common sense, the public pays the price.
