A friend posted criticising Just Stop Oil for ‘attacking the art heritage of mankind’. It was soup over a protective case and the painting was totally unharmed, as a desperate attempt to get publicity. I’m baffled that people
can’t see that the ‘art heritage of mankind’ and everything else will be reduced to a smoking pile of rubble at the rate we are going. What are we seeing that so many are not?

People have such knee-jerk reactions to Just Stop Oil but I personally don't see this as different from any other form of civil disobedience.

They knew from the outset that the painting would be unharmed and the point is that climate change threatens to do much worse.
