Today is Arbor Day (a day to celebrate Arboriculture) and to mark this day our Eco Club embraced the challenge to plant a tree close to the bus bays, an area recently left to grow wild to encourage a wider variety of plant and animal species living in the school grounds.
Next week is National Apprenticeship Week- if you would like to know more about this pathway, do have a look at this helpful guide for parents to find out more!

@Lauratobin1 is live from the high arctic in Svalbard, one of the northernmost points in the world.
Svalbard is known for glaciers and polar bears but it's changing fast. Temperatures there have increased by 7.7 degrees since 1970.
A huge congratulations to all our students who received their GCSE and BTEC grades!
You have worked so hard in challenging times and we’re incredibly proud of all of you.
Our @GeogHodgson students have been out conducting their fieldwork in Ambleside this week. Great weather for our Geographers who have been waiting to get out in the elements for this compulsory part of their course! #Geographytrips#TheLakes
Did you know...The garden bumblebee has the longest tongue of all our bumble bees. It can stretch up to 2cm, which is as long as its own body! This means it can reach right inside flowers like foxgloves and cowslips. 🐝
