Take it in. The first female chancellor. The first housing secretary who's actually lived in social housing. The first education secretary who was on free school meals. An energy secretary who actually believes in aggressively fighting climate change. Not a bad afternoon.

Used these comprehension style questions with Year 11 today to support them to understand the pre release and they found them very effective. A great way to simplify lots of information - https://t.co/vD5WIKHQm2
Students will then have 4 lessons on the resource when we return!
@PriGeogCheshire@GeogMum In KS3 the first few minutes of the lesson we use Seterra/Geo guesser - gets them settled and they learn locations of places. We are an iPad school though
@missgeog92 Each week consists of 1 x retrieval quiz on educake and a set of interleaving exam questions linked to the same topic. They then get feedback through model answers on the day itโs due to complete green pen.
Weโre looking to get an Iceland trip up and running in the near future. Please can people share their feedback on - what time of year you go, activities you include (any you think must happen), the price/tour company and any other info! Thanks so much โบ๏ธ
Some much needed R&R this holiday and reading books Iโve accumulated throughout the school year but hadnโt read - personal fave so far though, lots of โah yesโ moments!
@ploguey@geoteachrach We do this too! We also have a large cohort (upwards of 60 each year) so ensure thereโs a variety of projects/topics. We teach CUE and water/carbon first which opens up more projects in my opinion
