@Pipeline_papi I found this slightly odd as having the capacity to do this doesn’t necessarily translate to being a good SDR or BDR - I do understand the sentiment though in the current landscape
this is actually the best measure of "is this person actually intelligent"
are they (or do they actively learn to be) relatively good at everything?
if not, they are just highly-trained, whether self-taught or otherwise
which is a different thing
@salesxsaas Man - if only people had this level of sense, but I would say it’s segment dependent
Anything MM and up the phone is definitely just a big intel gatherer for the most part
@axtalks The funny part about this is sales is really all in the follow-up
Been in sales the last 3 years and I have to keep reminded myself that constantly that just showing up consistently will have you lapping people who just decided to quit
@Kenvsryu24@saleskhalifa It’s funny because this is probably the best option for consumer as annoying ads can be honestly - other than that I just see a usage paywall that’s hard to calculate overtime
@Kenvsryu24@saleskhalifa I think the issue is when they just put that behind a usage paywall after IPO’ing and want to not light money on fire trying to gain customer acquisition anymore
@natolisnuggets Can’t say I agree with this one - I will agree cold email can be harder but sourced some decent sized deals at my current startup that isn’t well known at all
@saleskhalifa This is a tough one because I immediately think of security and privacy issues here
Especially with an uptick lately around breaches and data leaks pertaining to AI
@DialDraper I mean there’s ways of course with pre-call flows and orchestrating the cold call itself but just having a benchmark puts your mind at ease.
If it’s not an absolute priority for them at the time there’s only so much you can do regardless even if you have an ironed out system.
@ImAntCalabrese Have to agree this is a bad take - you really only understand when you are at a no name start up in the SaaS world.
Will very quickly realize how much branding and marketing sells for you at larger orgs that have good authority figure in the market.
Night and day difference.
@RooktoRep The underlying factor of not only being in sales but being good at it
Changes your entire perspective on the psychology of people whether you want it to or not
