I think the danger w these “community” labels is that they are superficial & alienating.
The way black ppl talk about white ppl or the way gay ppl talk about straight ppl is weird. We are all humans first.
Your real community fills your SOUL not your aesthetic/ideology.
Why is identity politics so harmful?
In my opinion, it’s the whole “divide & conquer”. If you break things down “black community”, “gay community” “Hispanic community”, individuals want a sense of belonging, so they typically vote in lockstep to stay w/the group.
Your thoughts?
The older I get, the more I realize people are incredibly generous with the two things they can never get back: their body and their time.
What’s scary is how often they’re giving both to people who don’t genuinely care about them.
what a privilege is it is to afford a gym, buy healthy food, pay bills, have legs that walk, eyes that see, a brain that functions, work every day, and take our bodies to their full potential.
Underrated life advice: Have more hobbies and fewer opinions. Learn an instrument. Plant a garden. Build something with your hands. Cook. Paint. Run. The happiest people I know spend less time debating life and more time actually living it.
The most attractive people aren’t the best-looking.
They’re the ones who move through life with curiosity, confidence, and genuine enthusiasm.
They compliment freely.
They laugh often.
They speak honestly.
They find joy in ordinary moments.
They’re not flirting with people.
They’re flirting with life.
And everyone can feel it.
If that addict on your street were your own son, what would you do? That is the defining question that guides my 5 step plan to fix the homelessness problem in LA. We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They launder money and feed them more drugs, so they can keep their customers locked in this hell on our streets. We have a moral obligation from God to help them and make our city safe and clean for everyone. Karen Bass and Nithya Raman have forsaken this city. Time for real leadership. Time for real compassion.
ABSENCE of masculinity is a much bigger social problem than so called 'toxic masculinity'.
And what people call 'toxic masculinity' is usually downstream of an absence of masculinity anyway.

• Have an insane sense of urgency
• Be obsessed, not passionate
• Job security is a giant lie
• Writing is real thinking. Write.
• Join the permissionless economy
• Having high energy is more important than talent
• Most smart people are broke because they overthink
• Chase the extreme because everything else is mediocrity
