@StatisticUrban Must hold states: All of them, but MI is the one most likely at risk, followed by GA. Then need to hope nothing goes pear shaped in NH, MN, CO, NM.
Must flips: NC, ME. Gets to 49. One of IA, OH, TX would be most helpful; 2 is unlikely.
Only getting 48 is a disaster.
@StatisticUrban Finally, statehood for PR puts real obligations on the Federal government to integrate the territory more closely to the US both logistically and culturally.
@StatisticUrban But granting statehood is a power specifically reserved to Congress, so the people claiming it's a problem need to actually read the Constitution.
Probably should not assume that 2 Senate seats in PR would always be blue. Or even initially so.
@ColeSandick There are some lefties that want the Dem party to remain in the minority. The ones that think Dems are warmongering right now are secretly hoping for Vance to win in 2028.
@ReubenR80027912 lol, he used to fire people on his reality TV show every week. He’s fired Cabinet members on the spot his first term and the utterly incompetent Noem and Bondi this term.
