@codercommand @playdate There are things I like and things I don't like. It's really intresting learning how it works and I like how much control and understanding of the code I have but I also do miss thr conveniences of endgine dev.

Both are good in the right use case.

Been learning the @playdate SDK lately and its been great fun. Its so different to how I'm used to working. There is no engine, just a VScode interface.

@CodeRed_dev I tried to make a complex city builder based in ancient Egypt with ancient aliens. Didn't go great. Ended up getting scoped down to a super shallow bad tower defense.

@Four_man01 Do not worry I have learned since. These were some of my first attempts so I'm honestly glad they were passable at all. Though... My first mini is a different story all together. Tried to use full thickness store brought acrylic paints on that one. Didn't go well l.
