Any typos spotted in this post spent a sanity hour in their favourite cafe having a cheese scone the size of their head this morning. If typos spotted, they'll be lining up a re-watch of Rocky Horror this evening. Tim Curry was the best.

A tiny human (2?) is asked to return the Matchbox cars he's been playing with to a cafe toybox.
He studies them for a moment, hands on hips.
Mum's suggesting he take them all at once, but nope! One at a time.
That's the way.
Stomping back and forward with MAXIMUM purpose. (3)

A man (30s?) bolts into a cafe.
Eyes wide as they alight on the cake display.
He stops in front of the counter and shakes his head. "Don't tell me I missed the muffins!"
The server laughs. "You missed the muffins."
"I missed the muffins?!"
"You missed the muffins." (5)

A small human (3?) is huffing and puffing waiting for Mum to finish talking with a friend.
He tugs Mum's jumper.
No reaction.
Well this is vexing.
What if he licks this cafe window?
Darting a look at Mum
Poking his tongue out...
NOW she's paying attention! (2)

🧵Spotted While Roaming in Aotearoa New Zealand:

A tiny human (2?) and Dad are hard at work colouring a picture of a horse. Both holding onto the pink pencil. Wearing matching frowns of concentration. Rain falling outside the window. The scent of coffee in the air. (1)

Gonna miss you Dolly. ❤️❤️❤️
Today's gonna be a little bit sad I think. Hugs to anyone else out there who might need it.

🧵Spotted while roaming in Aotearoa New Zealand:

A young human (9?)
is listening to a busker play
Dolly Parton's Jolene.
She asks her mum,
"Hey Mum, do you know
what this song is about?"
Her mum doesn't skip a beat
when she answers,
"Your aunt." (1)
