@Derahobs In that case what benefit are you to the man, none!
Imagine knowing a woman that can take care of all your sexual needs without asking for moneyππ
@Hey_im_cloud@slam_slamm@emmywayne64 Well then you'd think that for a fully realized avatar, he'd have a way to defend himself against it as an adult, but no. Because both at 12 and at 40, aang wasn't a bloodbender. Old Hama bloodbent him easily and so did yakone.
@Hey_im_cloud@slam_slamm@emmywayne64 Amon was coming out of taking korra's bending, allowing mako to set up his body. Besides mako could fire that lightning from almost any position. That's why after the first lightning strike, amon wasn't playing no more!
@Hey_im_cloud@slam_slamm@emmywayne64 Katara literally had to unlock bloodbending a minute prior to resist Hama. You must be a bloodbender to counter it internally; that's why Aang, Toph and korra couldn't. Mako didn't overpower the grip, Amon just slipped focus. Bloodbending 1-1, Amon still wins.
@Hey_im_cloud@slam_slamm@emmywayne64 I meant blood bending, not having a natural defense against bloodbending. Age doesn't matter. To be able to resist it, you have to be a blood bender. Neither aang nor toph had the ability. Yakone easily does it against people who have no such defense, making it look effortless.
@Hey_im_cloud@slam_slamm@emmywayne64 The "fully realized avatar and the greatest earthbender" may be very powerful, but they have no natural defense against water bending. Aang was even bloodbent by an old hama. Even as an avatar, without being a bloodbender, you are still vulnerable unless you use the avatar state
@Hey_im_cloud@slam_slamm@emmywayne64 I see what you mean, but explosive power doesn't always guarantee victory. In a fight, Amon will resist Yakone's bloodbending because of his superior precision and mastery. Katara didn't beat Hama with "scale". She just had better mastery to flex out of it.
@Hey_im_cloud@slam_slamm@emmywayne64 There's no evidence to support the claim that yakone "is canonically leagues above tarlok". He bloodbent korra's entire team with ease. The scale is completely comparable with yakone's, yet Amon walked through Tarrlok's grip like it was a joke. Amon clears both.
@Hey_im_cloud@slam_slamm@emmywayne64 Tarrlok explicitly states Noatak mastered Yakone's exact psychic style and scale at age 14. "Courtroom of world-class masters"π
Only aang and toph were world class there. Yakone bloodbent a courtroom of defenseless people that didn't see it coming. That doesn't count as much.
@Hey_im_cloud@slam_slamm@emmywayne64 Even so, Amon's on-screen combat feats are just better. He tanked a point-blank lightning bolt and literally walked right through Tarrlokβs psychic bloodbending. Yakone canβt touch him, and once Amon gets close, it's over. For how good yakone looks he's powerless against amon.
