@JonnyDymond Really? Is it good juicy stuff? Stop press: two siblings disagree, argue and occasionally it gets physical. Honestly is that what counts for newsworthy content today?
@AynieLR@ChrisMoyse@Ravenstone_ My daughter was lucky enough to be taught by Elaine 2 years in a row. Her empathy and care made such a difference to the beginning of our primary school journey. We will miss her immensely ❤️
@GarethSouthgate what it achieves? You mean other than being a role model and standing up to tyranny, hatred, racism and abuse of power? Perhaps we could all talk to the people of Ukraine about what it would achieve.
@AskWithings@Withings@Vitality_UK I know it may seem like Im just being a difficult customer but this was an investment for me & I am trying hard to recover/get fit again after having 3 children. The fact that this is yet another thing which is just not set up for a mother of small children is deeply frustrating
@Withings I invested in a #scanwatch through vitality. Because it can’t differentiate walking with a pushchair I can’t access rewards & benefits. @Vitality_UK how can you promote a product which disadvantages mothers&women and when asked will not commit to fixing the problem?
@BigDaddyWolffo @Withings@Vitality_UK Thanks for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately that won’t contribute to my step count - it just logs a work out. And my step count is the key to unlocking benefits in my vitality account
@AskWithings@Withings@Vitality_UK I have contacted you directly Angel but have had no response. I’m very happy to have this conversation in public. Is there a reason that Withings Support is not?
@Vitality_UK@Withings So Vitality is happy to promote a device which is disingenuous in its advertising? And also that expects your customers to work out what it can’t do when there is no published part of their website (or yours) where that information is publicly available?
@Withings@Vitality_UK I have contacted you directly and received no useful response or information. Which is why I’m now contacting you publicly - with accountability.
@Withings@Vitality_UK Without an exemption? But if you are a parent or carer pushing a pushchair it does not work. It will not count my steps which means I can’t access my benefits and rewards on vitality. How can you possibly recommend it to me without exception?
@Vitality_UK@Withings Yes my husbands Fitbit uses an accelerometer. It has no problem detecting steps when he is pushing the pushchair. Clearly this is not about accelerometers in general but something soecifix about withings and their hardware or software.
@Vitality_UK@Withings You are suggesting that I should have been able to work out beforehand that this would be a problem. Could you please tell me where I should have looked in order to find this out?
@Vitality_UK@Withings Please could you also point me to the page on your website or Withings website where it says I shouldn’t buy this product if I am a mother of a small child and I need to push a pushchair.
@AskWithings@Withings@Vitality_UK Your response does not answer my question - and also is incorrect. Your use of the word may is completely disingenuous. It never counts my steps when I’m pushing a pushchair.
@AskWithings@Withings You haven’t addressed my question. How can you claim to be the most advanced smart watch when devices much older than yours can navigate this problem without issue?
@Withings my #scanwatch registers my activity as cycling when I’m pushing the pushchair. As a mum of 3 & recovering from pregnancy/birth walking is often my only activity. The most advanced smart watch? My husbands 5+yo Fitbit can do better. Mums & women deserve better.
@Vitality_UK@Withings Wow. That’s an incredibly disappointing response from a company that is trying to improve people’s health. You have covered your back and not addressed my concerns at all. You offer money off through vitality to buy a scanwatch. Isn’t that the definition of promoting?
