You don't know #ChronicPain until you have it, think it can't get worse, and then it gets worse. And stays worse.
Then the cycle repeats every few months so that at the end of the year you say, "Where's January's pain? I'll take that rookie #pain anyday."
I love how my notifications have completely messed up and I've missed a couple of replies on my tweets ๐ฅบ
Now look like the rudest person out there! I've learned my lesson - make sure to go through everything myself!
So sorry to anyone I've ignored ๐

Yesterday. I had the first good day I've had in months. I couldn't stop smiling and it was just so weird.
I still felt pain all day but my mind didn't feel as heavy as it has for months.
Just hoping this will continue ๐

Sometimes u have to get mentally prepared to occupy public space as a disabled person.
As a wheelchair user, I donโt think u ever get use to ppl constantly staring at you on the train, bus, or just rolling down the street.
Ableds why do yโall stare at disabled ppl so much?
Have I just woke up in 1950? The Georgia #abortion laws are fucking unbelievable! How many women will need to die/be prosecuted because they were desperate before this bullshit is reversed?
Seriously, America, sort your shit out.

I feel like I have 2 modes:
1. I have to be careful of else I'll trigger a flare
2. F*ck it, everything causes a flare anyway, so might as well live my life.
There is no in between.
My upcoming video is related to this!
Did you grieve when you were diagnosed? Or were you so relieved to FINALLY have a diagnosis that you 'forgot' to grieve?

I really, really dislike the internalized "Am I being a pain/annoying?" when I have to ask for help with accessibility. It's a major anxiety-inducing event and I hate that it feels that way when it shouldn't.
Our backs, our organs, our joints, skin & inflamed bodies scream.
This is the one day we have to post 10 posts in a day because we finally feel we deserve to be seen for 24 hours.
Are we visible to you?

In case you need to hear it: it's okay to be overwhelmed sometimes. Illness is hard. Disability is hard. Life itself is hard.
It's okay to not be okay.
A lot of drama on Twitter right now and now I'm bloody terrified of who I should and shouldn't be following!
Think I've read enough to work out who I DEFFO shouldn't give my time too! Just hope I've cleared everyone I need to!
