We are glad to have been able to cover pupils, as well as tenants, in the policy and we understand that the Bar Council’s Chambers Management Group will be looking at a potential guide for chambers employees in the future.

And, whilst we do not suggest that they should be mandatory, we certainly believe that it would assist in providing guidance during what can be a tumultuous time for those working in what can be a fast-paced, emotionally challenging, and volatile profession.

Yesterday evening our members and staff at Mountford Chambers joined thousands of legal professionals in the heart of London for the London Legal Walk 2025.

With the weather on our side, it was a wonderful opportunity to come together in support of an important cause. The funds raised will directly help vulnerable individuals access free, life-changing legal advice.

Joseph Sinclair, Martyn Hynes and Georgia-Mae Chung have joined the Lampard Inquiry Counsel team as Junior Juniors. Over the next six months, they will support the wider team as in preparation for upcoming hearings leading towards a final report.

The Lampard Inquiry is an independent statutory inquiry investigating the deaths of mental health inpatients in Essex between 2000 and 2023. It continues the work of the Essex Mental Health Independent Inquiry established in 2021.

On Thursday 24th April, members of Mountford Chambers participated in the MD Communications Legal 5k run, raising funds in support of @SkylarksCharity.
