Our team occasionally send us videos of specific tough cases and this one broke our hearts. A single mom with her mentally ill mother and three children, with no shelter or any basic needs provided. Support her case here: https://t.co/5b0ee2e1cD
With a pack of diapers costing over $28 and a can of milk costing $11, families like this can’t afford to cover the basics for their baby. In addition, people with mental illness struggle a lot in the genocide with no care or support provided.
Unfortunately, families like these are invisible to large organizations and supporters through social media. In the famine, the first people who pay the price are these invisible families with no access to any support or/and who suffer from chronic illnesses / mental illnesses, and/or those pregnant or with babies, etc.
We will provide support to this family and other families in similar situations. Please donate to the South campaign to support such cases: https://t.co/5b0ee2e1cD

She was pleading for people to MASK! But they wouldn't even mask at her chemo appointments.
She died about 2 months after this thread. Yet things haven't changed. People are still attacking disabled people for fighting for our survival. This is life and death for us!
I’m stunned that an act as simple as wearing a mask was a deal breaker for so many
You weren’t required to permanently affix it to your face. It could have been as easy as wearing pants & shoes
Instead people decided it was an egregious violation of freedom - and we all suffer.
Not to alarm anybody (?) but mask bans and assisted suicide bills are being pushed *rapidly* at the same time as lack of funding for healthcare, survival etc. Like if you take just one step back to look at the full picture, it's actually... A lot.
a lot of y’all seem to think liberation means taking our clothes off. what a eurocentric white feminist view of the world. as if our right to live is dependent on whether or not we wear a bikini. as if our lives are only worthy if we appeal to the western male gaze. akh. صبر.
Boycotting now will lead to tech companies being forced to develop phones which are sustainable. This current model is not only wasteful but also lethal to the people or Congo. There is no reason for a new iPhone release every year????
