@LGRisP2W@Beesbloke@mpk_y2k@israel_ajoje Mason Mount has different injuries. It is not a single recurring problem. He is just injury prone.
Medicals does not necessarily show that
If you tell me you want to do you internship in the hospital. I will tell you to beware of the savior mentality.
Hospital pharmacy has a way of conditioning you into that mindset. Once you have seen a patient beg for things, once you have seen socioeconomic effect? you will start adjusting. After enough exposure, it becomes easy for you to internalize the idea that being a good healthcare professional means sacrificing yourself financially.
You went to school for 5+1+x years to be someone that earn with his/her skills, not to be a savior that doesn’t earn.
Aside from that, there is also a broader professional danger. Once pharmacists become accustomed to working for little or nothing because “patients need help,” institutions and those they serve can begin treating that sacrifice as the expected baseline.
Now you understand the things you see in the Nigerian setting about Pharmacists and even other healthcare professionals at large 😅
