@TranLongmoore I’m not introducing anything. I’m desiring to equip educators with resources and trusting them to do their jobs.
Do I want all kids to see their life experience expressed in the resources? Yeah I guess I do. But that’s my personal preference.
@TranLongmoore This is such a disappointing post Tran.
Let the process happen.
I explain it like this… curriculum are the tools. You’d want a mechanic to have all the tools necessary to do various jobs. Then the mechanic (the professionals) implement the curriculum.
@TranLongmoore I’m proud of them. I want to take a picture with them as a demonstration of support. And to recognize that we shared a space tonight where something really great happened.
@TranLongmoore I couldn’t disagree more with you if I tried. We make decisions (hiring, finance, handbooks, etc) that directly impact these student athletes and club members.
And you take issue that we want to take a picture and recognize our partnership? It has nothing to do with me.
@TranLongmoore I appreciate you clarifying Tran. Indeed a millage renewal and yes, it provides essential general fund dollars that we can, and do, put towards classroom instruction. The $8.5M is essential to our day to day operations. Thank you everyone who is reading this.

@jensteben@wcpublichealth@MEAOnline@LtGovGilchrist@GovWhitmer This is not ok. There are counties in Michigan who have 85%+ of their school staff vaccinated.
If there is a supply issue considering our excellent health systems, our university presence, our number of deserving 65+ individuals, then it is the job of the county health department
