Don’t always look for cellular crowding/palisading in “Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma” on liquid-based preps such as this SurePath slide. More helpful is monolayering of cells and prominent nuclear membrane irregularities, both features nicely seen here. (FNA)
"The Hyaline Globules" can't get any better, Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma of the Parotid. The circumferential encircling by the malignant basaloid cells is so classic. (FNA)
Honoured & pleased to share that Ive been promoted to a Professor. Thanks to all who guided me en route & to my parents' & family's support...been a long & interesting journey! Looking fwd to doing justice to the title! @sheffielduni @SheffieldECMC @ShefDentistry@neopathology

"Acinic Cell Carcinomas" of the parotid are often hypervascular (just like oncocytomas). Beautifully seen here, are neoplastic cells adhering to branching vessels. (Parotid, FNA)
"ALMOST like a tissue section". Warthin Tumor on Parotid FNA. A rarely seen intact architecture of the oncocytic epithelium still adherent to the underlying lymphoid tissue.
