Why is the Reproductive Health Equity Act so important?

If #RoevWade is weakened or overturned at the federal level – Coloradans will STILL be guaranteed their fundamental right to reproductive freedom.

3 anti-abortion bills were introduced in the first week of session in CO. This could be the last year of Roe v Wade. CO statute doesn’t currently protect abortion access. Step 1: #PassRHEANow. Step 2: Pass a constitutional amendment to protect abortion in CO. #COpolitics #COLeg

[BeyondtheBansCO @BeyondtheBansCO]

RHEA affirms that repro rights are fundamental rights. The 3 bullet points:
-Every person has the right to choose or refuse contraception
-Every pregnant person has the right to give birth or have an abortion
-A fertilized egg does not have rights under state law

I’m fighting for a basic human right and so can you. We can keep abortion legal in Colorado. Let’s #PassRHEANow #RHEA4CO #coleg @CobaltAdvocates @colorlatina
