Boulder Valley School District unveiled their 1st electric school bus which has 0 emissions, so kids standing in line to board the bus aren’t breathing pollution. Quiet, low maintenance & low fuel costs- all part of CO's strategy to address the climate crisis. #coleg#copolitics
I wanted to share an event put on by a new local organization called BIPOC Rising, led by Rep-elect Joseph (HD 10) and Lafayette Mayor JD Mangat + Boulder County Democratic Party. It was developed to help recruit and train a diverse slate of future candidates to run for office.
They are hosting an all-day training, on Sat. Jan. 21 to have BIPOC elected officials share their experiences, challenges, and successes. Following the training they are hosting a reception from 5:00-6:30 pm to meet other local officials from the Democratic Party!
“It’s incredibly important to recognize that we are returning with larger majorities in part because our voters believe we’re on the right track,” speaker-designate @McCluskieforCO. “I think it’s an affirmation that we have paved the way for a successful future.”

On the one year anniversary of the #MarshallFire, we’re keeping the Boulder County community in our thoughts as they remember the tragic day that forced thousands from their homes.
