.@capellaspace unveiled images this week from #Sequoia, the first of 36 Synthetic Aperture Radar ( #SAR ) satellites the San Francisco startup plans to send into a constellation to collect global imagery with hourly updates. https://t.co/BFxNxpbygU
#DStarONE#Sparrow and #iSat successfully deployed in orbit. We confirm the reception of UHF beacons from both satellites on 435.700 MHz. We were able to command the satellites on the first pass. TLEs seem to have slight imperfections, so contact was better on low elevations
@2m0sql But this time it really worked out ) We received the beacon and established contact. TLEs seem to be not perfect so far, so contact was good on low elevations only. Will try to switch on the D-Star Transceiver in the next couple of days. Stay tuned.
First RX of what appears to be D-Star ONE - Sparrow 435.700; doppler matched prelim. TLE nicely. VERY strong signals but have not found telemetry protocol yet... not disclosed on project website https://t.co/DrFiTPGgjp
@scott23192 Thanks Scott! You’re the first one to receive sparrow! We will disclose the telemetry format after a short commissioning phase. And please send us a pm with your address so we can send you a small gift )
The Soyuz rocket has returned to flight only 14 days after a launch failure with a Soyuz-2-1b orbiting a Lotos-S1 SIGINT satellite.

Another point from @iac2018 is the importance of smaller clients, searching for reasonable solution for first mssion: the quantity of such clients’ increases and sometimes the bigger industries are not flexible enough to meet their demand. #spacemarket#newspace#iac2018
@iac2018 made us sure that our value proposition and pricing are very competitive on the #smallsat market. We see the increased interest on heavier #cubesat platforms, from #6U form-factor suitable for commercial applications.

During @iac2018 we have also agreed on cooperation with Morpheus Space, startup from Dresden, Germany, developing propulsion systems for small satellites which may bring new dimension into our missions. #iac2018#newspace#spacestartup#smallsat

During @IAC2018 we have signed the letter of intent with @host_mi that expressed interest in integrating German Orbital Systems service as one of the first space service providers serving the demand for Low Earth Orbit Missions
